Consumer Health Data Policy
Effective November 1, 2026
This page explains the health-related information Whole Haul handles. We aren't sure every item here counts as "consumer health data" under state laws such as those of Washington and Nevada. We treat it that way to be careful. It adds to our Privacy Policy. Whole Haul is run by Ronald Padilla, an individual.
What we collect
- Food allergies you list.
- Foods you avoid.
- Eating style, such as low-sodium or gluten-free.
- Anything health-related you type into your notes or a change request.
We don't ask for your medical records, diagnoses, or anything from a health app or device.
Why we collect it
To write meal plans that avoid what you told us to avoid. We use it for nothing else.
Where it comes from
Only from you, when you answer the questions or type a note.
Who it goes to
- Anthropic, as a service provider. Your answers, including allergies, are sent to Anthropic's API to write plans, only after you agree in the app. Anthropic says it deletes this data within 30 days, or keeps it up to 2 years if its safety systems flag it.
- Supabase, which hosts our database and stores your saved answers for us.
We don't sell this information. We don't use it for ads.
Your choices
- Withdraw your consent: Settings > AI data sharing > Stop sharing. New plans, changes and weekly plans stop. Saved plans stay.
- Change your answers: edit your allergies and other answers in the app at any time.
- Delete everything: Settings > Account > Delete account. See the Privacy Policy for what is removed and what stays.
- Ask us: write to support@wholehaul.org to ask what we hold about you.
Whole Haul works to avoid the allergies you list, but it can miss things. It can't promise any plan or recipe is safe for you. Always read labels and check with your doctor.
